T.K. Richardson is the author of Return the Heart, a best selling young adult novel. She also writes nonfiction and inspirational books. She owns Chamberton Publishing and is founder of Partners In Print, a book donation program for children in the foster care system. When she's not writing she enjoys her mountain home, hiking, baking, making jams and jellies, and living life! She lives in California where she is working on her next book. Jean Louise is a long-time writer published in various genres. She has written novella-length “caper” stories (It Takes a Thief), as well as the Boys in Blue series, featuring police officers Earnest and Wry, whose beat is anything but routine. Other projects include the Timekeepers young adult time-travel adventures written under the name J.Y. Harris.
Originally from upstate New York, Jean now lives farther south, where she has to battle a pretty black-and-white tuxedo cat for the comfy spot on the couch.

Sam Kates is the British author of the apocalyptic science fiction series *Earth Haven*, which begins with *The Cleansing* and continues in *The Beacon*. It concludes in *The Reckoning*(written, but not yet published). *Angelica* is a scene from *The Beacon* told from a different point of view than the original.
